THE CREATION
Kelly Calche is a nod to two iconic Herms objects: the Kelly bag and the calche, a horse-drawn carriage and the houses signature. Kelly Calche was created in 2007 by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. This perfume exuding leather and flowers, as light as an angels wing is dedicated to women who exhibit free-spirited elegance and whose unisex equestrian style refuses to take itself too seriously.
OLFACTORY NOTES
A floral and leathery fragrance, Kelly Calche Eau de Parfum combines the opulent notes of rose with powdery mimosa, along with the enveloping character of benzoin.
THE OBJECT
Designer Philippe Mouquet has embellished the emblematic bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, with mischievous details: the metal plate and the turn lock, both central to the Kelly bags clasp.
THE HERMS DETAIL
Reviving the memory of a visit to the Herms leather library, Kelly Calche expresses the perfumers tactile and olfactory emotions.
A perfume of leather and flowers, as light as an angels wing. Jean-Claude Ellena
A reminder of a visit to the Herms leather storehouse, Kelly Calche is a light, feminine, joyous expression of leather. It gives a nod to two emblems of the house, and translates the perfumers tactile and olfactory emotions into an evocation of leather worn next to the skin, gently tanned by the touch and embroidered with fresh petals.
